This policy describes how It’s Giving Pool (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our pool route management software and website. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide to operate your account and run your routes: account and profile details (such as name, email, and company information), the client, pool, route, job, and scheduling records you enter, and service records your team logs at each stop — including chemical readings, supplies used, notes, before-and-after photos, timestamps, and the device location captured when a job is completed from a phone.

We also collect limited technical information generated by your use of the service, such as log data and device and browser information. Some cookies keep you signed in and keep the service secure; others help us measure how the product is used, as described below. If you contact us, we keep the communication so we can respond and improve support.

Analytics and crash reporting

We use analytics and crash reporting services to understand how the product is used and to find and fix problems. These services receive technical information such as device and browser type, app version, screens visited, feature usage events, crash and error reports, and identifiers for your account and business.

They do not receive your clients’ names, addresses, phone numbers, service photos, or the location points recorded when a job is completed. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and operate the service: authenticating owners and workers, scheduling and optimizing routes, recording and proving service visits, generating reports, providing support, sending service and product communications, maintaining security, improving the product, and complying with legal obligations.

We do not sell customer data. Ever.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the product — such as cloud hosting and infrastructure, database and authentication, communications, scheduling, payment processing, and analytics and crash reporting providers — and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to the transferred data.

Your clients’ information

The client and pool records you enter belong to your business. You are responsible for having the right to store that information with us, and we process it on your behalf to deliver the service — nothing more.

Data retention, export, and deletion

We retain your information while your account is active. Your data is exportable at any time, and you can request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing info@itsgivingpool.com. When data is deleted, residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before they are purged on a routine schedule.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but protecting your route and client data is core to what you pay us for, and we treat it that way.

Children

The service is built for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to account owners.
